National Basketball Team Head Coach

April Schilling is the Girl's National Team Head Coach at Bella Vista College Preparatory School. Coach Schilling played for Pat Summitt at Tennessee, appearing in two Final Fours. She spent her senior year at the University of California at Santa Barbara, leading the Gauchos to the Sweet 16. She went on to play for the New York Liberty, Minnesota Lynx, and Washington Mystics, before coaching both boys and girls high school basketball in Indiana, as well as a stint as an assistant at UCSB and the Indiana Fever, where she worked with current LA Sparks players Lauren Cox and Erica Wheeler.

As an education-based program, basketball student-athletes focus on academic success and learn the game's intricacies and develop their physical fitness at an elite level to be successful both on and off the court.
